Our 2007 Central AC was becoming less reliable, and certainly less efficient. We elected to replace the system using Lucas Air, as we have found their crews to be extremely reliable, and happy. Gene assessed our site, and recommended a Ruud system.Chris came out at 7:30 am 2 days later with one helper. By 4:00 pm, all work was done, all debris was swept up, and it truly looked like they had never been here, other than the fact that we had gleaming new components to cool and heat the place. Lucas Air is extremely reliable, timely, with good employees showing up to do the work. I highly recommend them.

I was given Lucas' AC&Heating info early this afternoon by my sister-in-law, who lives in Lake County, called and explained the situation: I'm in Volusia County, my son's widow and her daughter are in Lake County - widow's at work, daughter's at home with her nephew and son - suddenly without air. Joe arrived shortly after 6PM, made immediate repairs, and will be back tomorrow to complete the job. Widow will be able to sleep in a more comfortable house tonight, as will the rest of the family. Thank you Joe for caring and for your superior knowledge and abilities.10-13-2025 New post. Old unit needed some additional cleaning, plus some parts. Called Monday morning around 9 am for Annual Service crew showed up around 9:30. Techs were very curtious and knowledgeable. Serviced both ac and pool heat pump. Quality work at a reasonable price.So Review Update on May 7 2024 I was sitting in my living room and felt warm checked the thermostat it was set at 77 and the temp was 84. Told my wife to call Lucas Air in the morning she called them at 9:15 on May 8th they came out that day and diagnosed a capacitor. In 35 minutes AC fixed and cool again What a great company so caring about their customers and highly trained technicians that really know their stuff. Thanks Lucas Air

We called Lucas A/C for a cooling problem we’ve had in our master bedroom. We specifically asked for our last technician “Charley Bernat”. Charley was on time, and quickly isolated a problem in the duct work.Charley explained the problem in way we could understand, and even showed us a video of it. My air conditioning was apparently Frozen it was at least 6 inches of ice on the unit and Trace came took it apart he defrosted the ice he got the water out it was a leak he told me what it would cost everything else but no guarantees I've been quite a bit of money I weighed my options my unit was 15 years old he got me a great price and I would highly recommend this company

Their technician Charlie, responded to my call in an expeditious fashion, made a timely diagnosis, and gave me a very fair estimate to complete the work. I have no reason to doubt that upon receipt of the necessary parts, the actual repair will be any less professional than the diagnostic visit.

He was efficient, explained things amazing, and even took care of a little bird that hit my window (and didn't make it) so I didn't have too! THAT is going over and above! We will Totally be using Lucas Air for all of our Air Conditioning needs! PS During these summer months, I just knew we would have to wait a couple of days, and they where out within 3 hours!

As usual, Lucas came through when we needed them. My 5 month old Inverter unit (best investment I’ve ever made!) wouldn’t come on this morning; house was at 74 degrees and rising. We’d had a power surge at 2 AM, so I checked all the breakers and reset the thermostat. Nothing! I called Lucas and they answered immediately, as usual, very friendly and helpful. The nice lady scheduled a service call for between 12 and 2 PM. Guess what? Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful tech expert showed up at 11! Checked everything and reset everything and had my system up and running in 15 minutes! As usual, Lucas is here for you! Can’t recommend them enough! Don’t call anybody else!
